DO YOU CATER TO ALL RELIGIONS?
We do! Portugal is a wedding destination for many kinds of religious luxury weddings. Our mission goes beyond finding the perfect venue, your officiants and paperwork to perform your religious luxury wedding in Portugal. 

WHY SHOULD WE HIRE A LUXURY WEDDING PLANNER?
On average, it takes over 600 hours to plan a luxury wedding. Luxury wedding planning has less to do with budget but works to create a seminal experience. Luxury weddings won't differ from all of things associated with a traditional wedding, but include seas of additional elements helmed by an entire wedding planning studio. CAN WE BOOK A CONSULTATION WITH YOU PRIOR TO BOOKING?
Sofia Nascimento Studios offers a complimentary one-hour consultation prior to booking. Upon our first meeting we will provide you with an overview of our services. We will discuss how we approach conceptual design, bespoke planning, already in alignment to your wedding vision. 
 
DO YOU WORK WITH SPECIFIC VENUES / CONTRACTORS/ VENDORS?
We take great pride into working with mavens in the luxury wedding industry to provide our clients with everything to keep them inspired and excited about their celebration, to love who they are, to adore their destination and fall absolutely in love with their wedding day. Our selected vendors have been thoughtfully vetted, seasoned, and process-driven, and will go beyond their abilities to merge form, function, charm and individuality. Sofia Nascimento Studios aim to build a legacy for you and for the ones you love. That said, if you are interested in a venue that is not listed on our site, or have a preferred vendor in mind, we are always happy to work with those who will contribute true artistry to your wedding.

WE WOULD LIKE TO HOST A PRE/POST LUXURY WEDDING EVENT IN PORTUGAL, CAN YOU HELP?
No way better to celebrate with your friends and family! In fact, pre-wedding and post-wedding events are something we always recommend. a relaxed Bifana and Francesinha & brunch, a villa poolside cocktail with Porco Preto and Queijadas de Sintra for dessert, a day trip and exclusive tour in Portugal's most exquisite domains, or an authentic Old-World wine tasting, a boat ride through Tejo river are only a small sample of our suggestions. Similarly, if you're planning a wedding at home and would like to arrange a pre or post wedding event then our services can be tailored to accommodate your celebrations. 

IS THERE A MINIMUM BUDGET OF WEDDINGS YOU WORK ON?
We are a luxury wedding planning service and plan all kinds of events; What is far more important than the budget we work with, is how realistic each budget is for your requirements and preferences. While we will always try to make things as effective as possible for you, there are limitations. 

DO YOU CHARGE AN HOURLY RATE, A FLAT RATE OR A PERCENTAGE OF OUR OVERALL WEDDING BUDGET? - AND DO YOU HAVE A RETAINER FEE TO SECURE YOUR WEDDING PLANNER SERVICES?
We charge a flat rate for our tailored luxury wedding planning service. A retainer fee is required to secure our full wedding planning & design services. A fee schedule will be tailored to your needs prior to signing a contract.

WHAT ADDITIONAL TYPES OF EVENTS DO YOU SERVICE?
Although our main focus is luxury weddings, we work on Lifestyle Events, Milestones, Anniversaries, Baby Showers, Bachelor Parties, Corporate Events, Branding celebrations and non-religious ceremonies. 

HOW MUCH COMMUNICATION WILL WE HAVE?
We carry a strict policy to respond to all emails and phone messages in a timely manner. We will respond to all messages within 24 business hours. During the first stages of your wedding planning process we will address a proper timeline for all communications and updates to expect. 

HOW MANY WEDDINGS OR EVENTS WILL YOU COORDINATE PER DAY?
We only take a limited number of weddings every year - this means that we only do one wedding or event per week. 

WILL YOU BE PRESENT ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
Absolutely yes. After so many invested days in planning we wish to be there on the day, not just to witness the charm of everything coming together, but also to ensure you can ease into and enjoy your day. Your executive producer will personally attend on the bride's side ensuring everything runs perfectly in the morning, and assist with the coordination of the day's schedule on the bride's behalf. Sofia and 3 more assistants will be at the venue supervising and setting everything in place just as we envisioned and agreed with each vendor, making sure the final look is achieved and the perfect service is provided. Once the bride arrives, the team will come together and manage the entire event. 

HOW MANY ASSISTANTS WILL ATTENT ON MY WEDDING DAY?
At least 3 assistants will be at your wedding depending on the size of your events. Should you have multiple locations, or a larger guest count more assistants will be appointed. 

HOW DO YOU DRESS UP FOR A WEDDING?
For weddings, all Sofia Nascimento Studios wedding planners and executive staff are dressed in elegant, dark blue attire or if specially requested: with regards to the dress-code of your events. 

DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE MEALS FOR THE WEDDING PLANNING TEAM?
Since a wedding easily can turn into a 12, 14 and even 18-hour working day, planner meals during the preparations and your reception are appreciated. However, we are there as your high-end professionals and will absolutely refer from any alcohol or join your guests at the bar or on the dance floor. 

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO BOOK OUR WEDDING PLANNER?
As most wedding dates are decided upon 18-12 months prior, your wedding planner & designer are the first to choose. To save your full-wedding planning date we require a non-refundable deposit of 50%. The size of your event and budget will also be considered as important factors, but we highly suggest a minimum of 1 year up to 6 months in advance. 

CAN WE BOOK YOU FOR A DESTINATION WEDDING?
Absolutely! Each destination wedding comes with special requirements. For destination weddings outside Portugal, we typically include travel costs & lodging in your collection, but we always work our best to be respectful of your budget. 

DO YOU OFFER SAMPLE FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS?
We do offer one complimentary sample upon request for events whose budget is over E40K, while for events whose floral budget is below samples are charged full-price. Once your booking is confirmed and the deposit received we will work our best to create your sample, soon as the chosen florals are available. 

DO YOU ONLY WORK WITH BIG EVENTS?
We do not, we absolutely love to plan intimate weddings too, such as elopements, so we're all in for that.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
Right after your initial consultation we will arrange an appointment which will help us understand your needs and event vision. Once your deposit has been cleared we will normally require about 2-3 weeks to create our initial proposal. Following that we will be discussing the details during several contacts. Kindly note that the final fees are due 2 weeks prior to your event date.
