However, and as you may imagine, our Founder and Creative Director's wedding was an extraordinary experience, both for us and for the happy couple. Sofia and João, the bride and groom, share a deep passion for food, authenticity, the joy of life, and fashion. Their wedding was a perfect reflection of these values – a blend of the fun and colorful with the classic and timeless, an event filled with glamour, delectable dishes, and an intimate, cozy ambiance.

Portugal's Queluz National Palace is one such venue, reflecting the evolution of tastes over time and passing through Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassicism style. This stunning palace is the location of this majestic shoot by Portugal-based wedding planner & designer Sofia Nascimento Studios, which features not one but four incredible modern wedding dresses.

BRIDGERTON-INSPIRED WEDDING IN PORTUGUESE PALACE
Julia and Erik flew all over from Miami to Lisbon dreaming about a delightful and unique weekend celebration. Her marvelous Vera Wang gown was the perfect addition to this beautiful Portuguese villa. The ceremony, performed by a close friend was filled with laughter and intimacy. The candlelit reception held in a glass greenhouse brought the ambiance of a family style dinner while implementing a cozy yet elegant touch into it. They hosted the most perfect Farewell Event with a white beach party filled with grilled fish and Amêijoas à Bulhão Pato at Caparica, and ended the day watching the sunset together.

This Europe Spring wedding inspiration in a Portuguese villa is an odd to the Spring and Nature. The words we used to describe it once starting the design process were Fresh, Romantic, Fun and Feminine. Surrounded by the oh-so iconic Sintra mountains, this place is all that wedding dreams are made of. This magical Sintra palace was home for the reception and brought the perfect scenery to each moment of the day. The romantic and airy bouquet made by our floral team at Sofia Nascimento Studios was one of our ever favorite designs because of how delicate, airy and filled with life it is all at once.
