The Welcome event at La Distillerie

Bringing together Nigerian heritage and the romance of Portugal, Berth & Emmanuel’s weekend was vibrant and elegant. The celebrations opened in Lisbon with a Nigerian-inspired welcome dinner — bold, expressive and full of energy. A lively evening where culture, fashion, music and connection came together, setting the tone for everything that followed. From Lisbon, the wedding moved to the dreamlike surroundings of Sintra, where the atmosphere became timeless and romantic. Sintra gave the celebration its backdrop, but Berth & Emmanuel gave it its character. Nigerian exuberance and Portuguese romance were never treated as separate themes; they flowed naturally through the weekend, in the way guests dressed, gathered, celebrated and danced. By the end, it felt less like attending a destination wedding and more like being welcomed into their world for three days.
