Brandy and Mike flew all over from New York City to Sintra dreaming about an intimate and memorable wedding experience. They're both architects and have a huge crush on fashion and Gucci floral inspiration, and always dreamt with bringing an eclectic and vintage feel to their wedding. Her heart skipped a beat once she saw their venue for the very first time and tears came to her eyes while imagining the beauty and magic that expected them and their beloved ones, specially her grandma that had never left the US and would have her first ever experience abroad for her grand daughter's wedding. We were lucky enough to have been found these two beautiful souls and will forever cherish their love and friendship, and keep these memories close to our hearts.

"If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to experience the journey Sofia and her team will take you on, grab it as fast as you can. It will absolutely be the best decision you make for one of the most important days of your life. It certainly was for us, and we are thankful every day that we stumbled upon Sofia and her studio.
My husband and I were engaged a few years ago, and we knew immediately that Portugal was the perfect place. Portugal had become special to us as soon as we first visited several years prior, and we wanted nothing more than for our friends and family to experience the same beauty, hospitality, adventure, and love that we had experienced with every trip. So, we began looking for ways to make it a reality. As we scoured the internet for inspirational photos that "felt like us" - searching for ideas around location, venue, look and feel, etc., we found a stunning photo with the credit to Sofia's studio below and immediately messaged her to see if we could work together. Thank goodness she said yes.
That is when the magical journey began - and I can tell you this: many people continued to ask us if the "stress of planning a wedding" had gotten to us yet, and the answer was always no. Sofia and her team ensured that it never happened - the process of going through video chats and creating a vision through sharing images, creating mood boards, and talking about what dreams we had for the big day was just that - a dream. It was truly so much fun - almost unbelievable that we were planning this trip, this day, in our favorite place in the world. And importantly, no topic was off limits - whether it was budget or changes to earlier decisions, Sofia and her team went above and beyond to make sure that the event was tailored to our needs and reflected us as individuals and as a couple.
~100 of our closest family and friends traveled to Sintra, Portugal for this incredible once-in-a-lifetime experience, including my 84-year-old grandmother that had never traveled outside of the United States prior to this trip. Obviously, it meant the world to us that so many of our loved ones would go to such lengths - and Sofia's team surprised us at every turn to not only make the trip special for my husband and I, but for all 100+ guests as well. From special transportation for my grandmother, to thoughtful details like blankets when it was just a bit too chilly outside, no detail had gone unnoticed. And although my husband and I had been so intimately involved in planning and design (or so we thought), we were blown away with every moment. Sofia and her team created an experience beyond our wildest dreams - both for us and for our guests. The week was everything you might hope for - incredibly exciting while somehow calm, adventurous without feeling overwhelming, grand and beautiful yet so intimate.
In the end, we were able to marry one another and celebrate our love in the most perfect way thanks to Sofia and her team. I'm not sure who cried more - me, my husband, our family and friends, or Sofia. We became great friends, and even a year after the event - we continue to stay in touch. So, in the end - you are not hiring a wedding planner, you are signing on to the experience of a lifetime. Don't pass it up.
